The service requires Advanced Open Water. Your chosen site may require additional training; the operator confirms suitable conditions, depth and route. A site name does not guarantee shark or other wildlife sightings.
Duration varies and departures depend on sea conditions. Do not assume wreck or cave penetration is included: confirm the scope and specific certifications with the operator.
There are no mass-market tours here: you dive in small groups with your instructor's direct attention. The service is run by a local team with more than 35 years of experience in Isla Mujeres, a pioneer of diving in the area and a collaborator in the creation of the Underwater Museum (MUSA).

How do I choose the dive site?

Why does it require Advanced Open Water?
Sites range from 24 to nearly 30 meters deep and often have current. Advanced certification (or a credited deep dive) is a safety requirement, not a formality.
Do we go inside the wreck?
We tour decks and wide passages with visible exits. Full technical penetration only with wreck diving certification — ask us if you have it.
Are there really sleeping sharks?
The cave has oxygen-rich upwellings that let sharks stay still and breathe without swimming. Sightings aren't guaranteed, but the site is historic and beautiful in its own right.
Is Nitrox available?
Yes, on request for Enriched Air certified divers. Ask when booking.
Who guides me, and what are the outings like?
Your instructor stays with you directly, and outings are in small groups, not mass tours. The operator has more than 35 years of experience in Isla Mujeres.
