See Manchones reef from a different perspective on a guided night dive for Open Water certified divers or above. This is not a first diving experience; tell us about your recent diving experience when booking.
The published activity lasts approximately 2.5 hours and includes a primary torch for each diver and backup lights with the guide. Review the remaining inclusions and briefing before departure.
Wildlife sightings depend on natural reef activity and are not guaranteed. The route is subject to sea conditions.
There are no mass-market tours here: you dive in small groups with your instructor's direct attention. The service is run by a local team with more than 35 years of experience in Isla Mujeres, a pioneer of diving in the area and a collaborator in the creation of the Underwater Museum (MUSA).

Frequently asked questions
It's my first night dive — is it hard?
If you're already comfortable diving by day, night diving is easier than you'd think: same site, shallower depth, and the guide marks the route with their torch at all times.
What might I see during the night dive?
The reef at night is a different world: lobsters, moray eels, octopus, and sea turtles are often wide awake and active.
What certification do I need?
Open Water or higher. A Night Diver specialty is great but not required: the dive is planned within basic recreational limits.
Is a torch included?
Yes, a primary torch for every diver plus backup lights with the guide.
Who guides me, and what are the outings like?
Your instructor stays with you directly, and outings are in small groups, not mass tours. The operator has more than 35 years of experience in Isla Mujeres.
Is it a good fit for my first dives?
It's not recommended as one of your first dives; some prior experience helps.
