Your first diving experience in Isla Mujeres starts with a briefing and skills practice before the dives. No prior certification is needed: an instructor accompanies you throughout the program.
The published experience includes two dives at MUSA and Manchones reef, lasts 4 to 5 hours and is booked from 2 people. Review the inclusions and complete the medical questionnaire before participating.
Choose your date and group size at checkout. The breakdown shows your deposit and remaining balance due at check-in. Sea conditions may affect the route.
There are no mass-market tours here: you dive in small groups with your instructor's direct attention. The service is run by a local team with more than 35 years of experience in Isla Mujeres, a pioneer of diving in the area and a collaborator in the creation of the Underwater Museum (MUSA).

Frequently asked questions
Do I really need zero experience?
None at all. The program is designed for absolute beginners: theory, calm-water practice, and only then the real dive — always with an instructor at your side.
Are there medical requirements?
You'll fill out a standard PADI medical questionnaire. Conditions like asthma, heart issues or recent surgery may require a doctor's clearance.
How deep do we go?
12 meters max, the Discover program limit. More than enough for reefs bursting with life.
Does it count toward Open Water certification?
Your first dive can be credited if you continue to the Open Water course with us during your trip. Ask us when you finish.
Can I fly the same day?
Plan your preflight interval with your instructor. For multiple dives without decompression, DAN recommends at least 18 hours; other profiles require longer intervals. Schedule diving before the final day of your trip.
Who guides me, and what are the outings like?
Your instructor stays with you directly, and outings are in small groups, not mass tours. The operator has more than 35 years of experience in Isla Mujeres.
Are underwater photos or video included?
They are not included in the price. If you'd like to add them, ask us when you book.
