Riviera Maya cavern routes · Full-day experience

Full day Year-round Custom quote

Explore cavern routes in Riviera Maya cenotes with a specialist guide. The experience takes a full day; your quote details the cenote and itinerary.

This is not a program for uncertified beginners. Review training and buoyancy requirements with Casa Aureum. The published routes are cavern dives, not cave penetration; confirm the scope of your chosen activity.

Price depends on the cenote, entrance fees, group and departure point. Request a quote and review included transfers and equipment before paying online.

If you are staying on Isla Mujeres, take the ferry to Cancún: we pick you up at the Ultramar terminal in Puerto Juárez. Frequently asked questions

Is cave diving dangerous?

Our routes are cavern dives, not cave dives: always within sight of exit light, with a permanent guideline and a specialist guide. The standards are strict precisely so it's safe.

What certification do I need?

Open Water is enough for cavern circuits. Good buoyancy control is what really matters — if you haven't dived in a while, tell us and we'll do a refresher first.

Is the water cold?

A constant 24-25°C year-round — cooler than the sea. The included wetsuit makes up for it.

Why a quote instead of a fixed price?

The price varies by chosen cenote, park entrance fees, group size and pickup point. We'll fix the exact price over WhatsApp.

Where and when is pickup?

If you are staying on Isla Mujeres, take the ferry to Cancún: we pick you up at the Ultramar terminal in Puerto Juárez. Morning pickups are generally between 6:00 and 8:00 am; times may vary by route and experience. Pickup points are also available in different areas of Cancún, including the Hotel Zone, Playa del Carmen and Tulum, depending on your experience’s route. After booking, contact us and we will confirm your exact pickup time and meeting point. Ferry tickets are not included.
