No Mayan site has a more dramatic setting than Tulum: an ancient walled city built atop limestone cliffs, with the turquoise Caribbean breaking twelve meters below. El Castillo served as a lighthouse for the trading canoes that sailed this coast.

This service is a private round-trip transfer in an air-conditioned van for up to 4 people, on your own schedule. The visit is entirely yours: tickets and guide are arranged on your own, and the driver makes stops on request — a cenote on the way, Tulum's public beach, a restaurant in town.

Local tip: arrive early. The site opens at 8 AM and the first hour — golden light on the sea, no crowds — is a different experience altogether.

If you are staying on Isla Mujeres, take the ferry to Cancún: we pick you up at the Ultramar terminal in Puerto Juárez. Morning pickups are generally between 6:00 and 8:00 am; times may vary by route and experience. Pickup points are also available in different areas of Cancún, including the Hotel Zone, Playa del Carmen and Tulum, depending on your experience’s route. After booking, contact us and we will confirm your exact pickup time and meeting point. Ferry tickets are not included.

Frequently asked questions

How long do we need at the site?

The ruins take 1.5-2 hours to explore. Many groups combine the rest of the day with a cenote and the beach — the driver adapts to your plan.

Can you swim at the ruins' beach?

The small beach inside the archaeological site closes during turtle nesting seasons. Tulum's public beach is minutes away and spectacular — stop on request.

Is it worth combining Tulum with a cenote?

Yes: Gran Cenote and Cenote Calavera are 5-10 minutes from the ruins. It's the classic full-day combination.

Where and when is pickup?
