One of the New Seven Wonders of the World, best experienced with full context. Chichén Itzá isn't just a pyramid: it's an entire city where the Maya encoded their astronomy in stone — El Castillo marks the equinoxes with a serpent of shadow descending its staircase.

The Deluxe version is the comfortable way to do it with round-trip air-conditioned transport, entrance included, a certified guide who brings the ceremonial platforms and the ball court to life, a traditional Yucatecan buffet, and a swim in a sacred cenote to shake off the heat of the ruins.

The day closes with a stop in Valladolid, the colonial magic town of colorful facades. Daily departures, all inclusive, zero logistics on your side.

If you are staying on Isla Mujeres, take the ferry to Cancún: we pick you up at the Ultramar terminal in Puerto Juárez. Morning pickups are generally between 6:00 and 8:00 am; times may vary by route and experience. Pickup points are also available in different areas of Cancún, including the Hotel Zone, Playa del Carmen and Tulum, depending on your experience’s route. After booking, contact us and we will confirm your exact pickup time and meeting point. Ferry tickets are not included.

Frequently asked questions

How much walking is there?

The archaeological tour is about 2 hours at an easy pace, almost all on flat esplanades. Bring comfortable shoes and a hat — shade is scarce.

Can you climb the pyramid?

No, climbing El Castillo has been prohibited since 2008 to preserve the monument. The view from the esplanade is just as imposing.

Are site fees included?

Yes: full Chichén Itzá admission is included, along with guide, buffet, cenote and transport. The only exception is the mandatory cenote life vest, which costs approximately $5 USD extra on-site. Crafts and tips are also on you.

Where and when is pickup?

If you are staying on Isla Mujeres, take the ferry to Cancún: we pick you up at the Ultramar terminal in Puerto Juárez. Morning pickups are generally between 6:00 and 8:00 am; times may vary by route and experience. Pickup points are also available in different areas of Cancún, including the Hotel Zone, Playa del Carmen and Tulum, depending on your experience’s route.
