Cenote Diving

Dos Ojos · Gran Cenote · Full day

Full day Year-round Custom quote

Beneath the Yucatán Peninsula flows one of the planet's most extraordinary freshwater systems: underground rivers surfacing in cenotes of impossibly clear water. Diving them is entering another dimension of the sport.

Dos Ojos, Gran Cenote and other legendary Riviera Maya systems: visibility measured in dozens of meters, light beams filtering through cave openings, haloclines where fresh and salt water meet like oil and vinegar, and stalactite formations that took millennia to grow.

It's a full-day excursion from Cancún with a cenote-specialist guide. Requires Open Water certification; routes are cavern dives (always with visible exit light), not technical cave diving. Quoted based on the chosen cenote and group size.

Frequently asked questions

Is cave diving dangerous?

Our routes are cavern dives, not cave dives: always within sight of exit light, with a permanent guideline and a specialist guide. The standards are strict precisely so it's safe.

What certification do I need?

Open Water is enough for cavern circuits. Good buoyancy control is what really matters — if you haven't dived in a while, tell us and we'll do a refresher first.

Is the water cold?

A constant 24-25°C year-round — cooler than the sea. The included wetsuit makes up for it.

Why a quote instead of a fixed price?

The price varies by chosen cenote, park entrance fees, group size and departure point (Isla Mujeres or Cancún). We'll fix the exact price over WhatsApp.
