Can you swim at the ruins' beach?
The small beach inside the archaeological site closes during turtle nesting seasons. Tulum's public beach is minutes away and spectacular — stop on request.
Is it worth combining Tulum with a cenote?
Yes: Gran Cenote and Cenote Calavera are 5-10 minutes from the ruins. It's the classic full-day combination.
How does it work from Isla Mujeres?
Early ferry to Cancún and the driver picks you up at the port meeting point. Keep in mind it's a shorter transfer than Chichen Itza (approx. 1.5-2 h each way).
